Where can I buy a property in Istanbul?
It is a hard question to answer and decide for people who want to buy a house in Istanbul. I have heard those words once I sit with my grandfather: “the worst field you have is better than your best brother.” What I mean is that it won’t hurt you even worst real estate.
We can respond to the question in different ways. It is a directly proportional question about what everyone is looking for and about the budget that everyone is going to spend. I have dedicated this article to the districts of European side of Istanbul. There are 25 districts in European side of Istanbul.
Considering the price, the right answer is definitely Esenyurt. the prices for foreign ones coming to Istanbul is tempting. Also houses are new and suitable for new fashion because Esenyurt is one of the new settlements.
Esenler will cater for low-budget investors. If you want to buy a nice house with an average price, my suggestion for you is Beylikdüzü. The cheapest 2+1 houses are in Beylikdüzü. On the other hand, according to Forbes’s 2017-2018 June Real Estate Report for Turkey, 10 of Istanbul’s most valuable neighbourhoods (Emirgan, Bebek, İstinye, Ataköy,Yeniköy, Akat, Kuruçeşme, Levent, Balta Limanı, Levazım) are all in Beşiktaş, Sarıyer and Bakırköy county towns. The square foot price starts from 17 thousand and is over 40 thousand.
To sit or to invest?
This is an important detail to buy a property. For instance, some people may prefer for a living in Avcılar than Esenyurt. A part of Avcılar is Marmara Sea, the other part is Kucukcekmece Lake. If you prefer Besiktas you will find a high socio-cultural structure, intensive cultural and artistic activities, history. According to Forbes; Bahcelievler, Yesilyurt and Levazim neighbourhoods were bringing the most income in 2017-2018 July.
If you say the old or new property’s doesn’t matter you need to dig a little deeper. Gungoren-Haznedar is in a good location in terms of transportation. You can reach to Kabatas-Bagcilar line in 10 minutes by walking and to metrobus line in 15 minutes by one minibus. You can reach to the centre of Istanbul in one hour by public transportations or 20 to30 minutes by your own car. Zeytinburnu is in a very attractive location with Marmaray and Eurasia Tunnel in terms of transportation.
Your ideas and suggestions are priceless for me. I will be happy to hear your thoughts and questions. Where do you buy a property in the European side of Istanbul and why?
